- Submit comments to the Federal Register 2019 Census of Jails special addendum on COVID-19. Request they include a breakdown of youth under the age of 18 disaggregated by race, ethnicity, and gender. Comments are due by May 18, 2020.
- Advocate for your state and OJJDP to collect data on youth in custody impacted by COVID-19 disaggregated by race, ethnicity, and gender. (For example, New Jersey signed into law legislation that requires data to be disaggregated by race.)
